Introduction

The initial part of the research is devoted to the exploration of the major tendencies in music in the Renaissance and Classical periods. It explores the major tendencies of the music development in the mentioned periods that saw the appearance of a great number of renowned composers. The first part of the research paper gives the prospects for further exploration of the matter in question, stating that the two most prominent composers of the described periods have been Josquin des Prez and Wolfgang A. Mozart. These were representatives of different time periods that were characterized by different trends in music. Further, the research analyzes every period in particular and then compares and contrasts the two composers mentioned above. In the final part of the research, the author analyzes the impact of the two periods on the development of music and the role of two composers in this regard.

The conclusion of the paper sums up the key points of the research. Wolfgang A. Mozart and Josquin des Prez are the most outstanding and prominent composers of their times. A deep interest in music and devotion to it helped the composers to reach immense success and their music works are still popular and relevant even today. In the concluding part of the paper, the author states that Josquin des Prez and Wolfgang A. Mozart are the two connoisseurs of the classical music. In such a way, the Renaissance and Classical periods had a significant and incomparable influence on the development of music. And the two composers analyzed in the paper are the most prominent representatives of these periods, and their contribution to the development of music is especially considerable. The contrast and comparison of the two composers help to analyze the motives and traits of the periods under discussion. It needs to be said that the above research project was aimed at analyzing the characteristic features of the music performed by two composers and the way their music influenced the progress and evolution of music during the Renaissance and Classical periods.
