Researchers state that the proper evidence-based intervention strategies and professional training materials affect sustainability of the teacher’s instruction in the classroom. The response to intervention model is used in research to assess how professional development and professional capacity influence student achievement. There is a need for addressing current research needs in the required practices to ensure that response to intervention implementation is adequate. This article can be used in my professional practice as it helps to better understand the positive impact of evidence-based practices, professional development opportunities and implementation strategies.

Researchers believe that the major factors that have a strong impact on student achievement are associated with building school capacity. The enhancement of school capacity depends on the effectiveness of professional development. There are factors that affect school capacity, including the proper knowledge and professional skills of staff members, the various human and technical resources and school professional community. It is recommended to improve professional capacity through enhanced programs for student and staff learning. This source can be used in my professional practice to strengthen my professionalism.

There is a need for building professional capacity to ensure that educational leadership practices are conducted effectively by morally oriented school leaders.
