The Analysis of Interiority of a Leader

When it comes to the analysis of interiority and leadership, it is essential to keep in mind some of the most important components of the former concept. Thus, self-awareness plays an important role since it sets the framework for one’s perception of oneself (Deresiewicz, 2015). This is crucial for the development of interiority in general because it creates the unique environment that defines the human personality. In addition to that, one should mention the complex world of emotions (Hart & Rhodes, 2014). A person is constantly reacting to the external stimuli; that is why emotions are extremely important since they make one react in a specific way to the world.

There is a strong relationship between interiority and leadership. The latter might be modified by the former as one uses the former as the source of power. In other words, inferiority might become the secluded place to which a person retreats and recharges one’s batteries, figuratively speaking (Bozesan, 2010). In addition to that, it is work mentioning that the nature of one’s interiority will largely affect the nature of one’s leadership. In other words, people who were able to find harmony inside will turn out to be effective leadership since there will be nothing that will distract them.

In order to further develop a connection with myself, I will make several conscious actions. To begin with, I will embark on the journey of introspection in order to identify my strengths and weaknesses (Patti, 2011). This will enable me to see what I can use to enhance my leadership ability and what I need to learn in order to improve. In addition to that, I am planning to reflect on my process daily in order to make sure that I was able to identify the mistakes that I made and create a plan for improving them in the future.
