How Are You Your Own Best Friend As A High School Senior? Free Essay

The Importance Of Friendship With Yourself In High School

Learning to live among people and to be able to communicate with people are the most important sciences for a high school senior. A normal, fulfilling life is not possible without active communication. However, in order to find good friends, it is important to remember that the ability to communicate with other people is not enough for a good life because the best way to find a friend is to become a good friend to own personality. I consider that many high school seniors forget this statement and they are the worst enemies to their own personalities. Every day they program their subconscious with negative thoughts. They constantly provide themselves a disservice because they limit their possibilities many times, and sometimes they simply physically destroy themselves, do not believing in their power of mind and the ability to impact on the events in their lives.

I strongly believe that the best friend is a person to whom I can entrust my most secret thoughts and share different ideas, as well as I can rely on this person on the most difficult moments in my life, to share my joy and hardships. Naturally, only I know myself much better than other people do, and to be best friends with myself is an opportunity to follow the call of my heart and act in accordance with my values and ideals. I think that I am my own best friend as a high school senior, when I trust my own intuition and, if I need advice and support, I am able to find a source of comfort in my own inner world. Such an attitude to friendship with my own inner world allows me to overcome different negative feelings such as loneliness and insecurity in the future, fear of mistakes, etc. Thus, I strongly believe that to be your own best friend means to recognize and accept own personality and inner world unconditionally, and to do it as a dear friend. It means to be honest, sympathetic, cordial, and friendly.
