The obvious advantage of it is that it tries to fill the academic gap regarding the role of knowledge management in the contemporary business world. This means that even though its findings may not be exhaustive, it surely highlights the direction of future research. In addition to that, the benefit of the article is that it makes connections between seemingly unrelated concepts and defends it successfully. Speaking of the disadvantages of it, one should mention a relatively low sample. The information obtained from 172 companies is hardly enough to represent the state of affairs in the entire business world. Moreover, the research was limited to a single country.
