While searching texts written about harmony between the UK and Ireland, I found a few authors who published books about the achieving harmony between the UK and Ireland. My goal in this paper is to express my own opinion about the opportunities of British policies to achieve harmony between the UK and Ireland. Most of us feel strongly and talk strongly about national questions, but what, for example, is the real policy of the British government? On the face of it, British policy in regard to Ireland cannot be dishonest or debased – stupid, perhaps, or misguided, but not dishonest. People who believe in what Gilbert Murray calls “the profound consciousness of ultimate brotherhood between the two great English-speaking peoples” are loath to believe that the Policy of the British government ever could be corrupt or sinister.
It leads to the statement that governmental policy of Britain not straightforward, not disinterested, and not even commonly honest. I do not assert, I demonstrate that British policies and government has after long calculation devised a system by which the Irish people cannot possibly work out their own saving.
Anyway, do you believe that any British Policies could have achieved harmony between these countries? We all know that it is not incredible that such systems have been devised. It shows, first of all, the cold policy of the British government in regard to Irish trade and taxation. The Irish government is to have no power to send taxation or extend boundaries. It is led to decrees the standards of life of its poorer classes, and raise an inordinate income, in which Britain is to skim the cream. In addition to all, the Irish must continued to trade through Britain with whatever customers and producers it has by mere opportunity in the rest of the world.
In conclusion, I must admit that even if the British policies have achieved some harmony between countries, it has been done under massive pressure. For this dependence, it is clear that British policy provides an incredible desire to keep Ireland enslaved, and such enslavement, however, requires more than policy. Jonathan White felt this effect in his book Terrorism and Homeland Security. The role of harmonization between Britain and Ireland was influenced in part by Royal Irish Constabulary (RIC), the police force established by the UK in Ireland, it represented British interests. After the free state formed, the RIC became the RUC, Royal Ulster Constabulary. In addition, the RUC gave way to the Police Service of the Northern Ireland (PSNI) as part of Irish and British attempts to bring peace and harmony to Northern Ireland.
