Racism Issue Free Essay

Through the Lens of Economic, Social, and Cultural Conditions

The modern world is highly diverse. Numerous people live in different conditions, which means they can have even opposite viewpoints concerning the same issues. Thus, poor economic, social, and cultural conditions people live in can make them improperly consider the issue of racism even in the 21st century.

Firstly, poor economic conditions mean people are highly concerned with the question of how to gain money for living. This is the main point of their life that is able to displace all the others. As a result, it is not a surprise that such people can contribute to aggravating the racism issue. Personally, I have met a few people with economic problems who said offensive words to other people just because the latter had a different color of skin.

Secondly, the economic conditions above can also mean these people represent a disadvantaged social class. As a rule, such people are badly brought up and behaved. As a result of these facts, the socially unreliable people tend to express their meaning directly even if it is going to be impolite or insolent. As for the question under consideration, it is a typical situation when people with no education trigger racism scandals just because they do not know how to act differently.

Thirdly, poor economic and social conditions inevitably mean such people are representatives of a lower cultural layer. With this in mind, it becomes completely clear why they are able to cause a racism scandal and why they pay attention to this fact at all. I am almost sure that it is a poor culture that allows offending other people just because they are of different nationalities.

In conclusion, we can say that the issue of racism is quite acute even in the 21st century. I believe that the given problem is still alive because there are a lot of people who live in poor economic, social, and cultural conditions.
