Sports Ticketing- Team of Choice

Denver Nuggets has been heading the list of the NBA teams that have worst attendance for several years. As of 2017, it attracts 14,770 people on average while the leaders of the list, Chicago Bulls boast 21,680 people. Obviously, the Nuggets should think about a way to improve their ticketing situation. There is a number of ways in which this can be accomplished.

First of all, they should match prices for their games with their performance. This year, the team is not showing outstanding results; so, the least they can do to attract more fans and spectators is to drop the price. Obviously, people would not like to may almost the same amount of money for which they could be watching the Bulls play.

Secondly, the Nuggets may also benefit from some publicity. For example, earlier this season, they first game was not televised because the broadcasters decided to save money. This has a deteriorating influence on the image of the team. As a result, people will start forgetting about it and will not be interested in going to the games.

Finally, the Nuggets should think about buying a star player or turn one of their players into a well-recognized figure. By doing so they will attract people not to the team, but to a particular player. As a result, people will come to see this person play. So, even if the team loses, but the star shows great game, they will be satisfied.

Having examined all the points, it becomes obvious that Denver Nuggets should introduce some changes in their ticketing. First of all, they should decrease the price to match it will their not-so-great performance. Secondly, the should promote the team more by buying more time on air. Finally, they might think about buying a star player or turning one of their own players in a distinct figure.
